Therapy That Meets You Where You Are
Therapy can look different at different stages of life, and the kind of support that feels helpful can vary from person to person. I provide therapy for tweens, teens and adults, with an approach that considers each individual's experiences, needs and goals. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child or teen, my goal is to provide a space where you can feel comfortable, heard and supported. Sessions are offered virtually or by phone, allowing you to choose the way of connecting that works best for you.
Tween Therapy
For tweens ages 10–12, therapy can provide a supportive space to talk about emotions, friendships, school, family relationships and the changes that come with growing up. It can help them better understand what they're experiencing and develop skills to navigate these challenges.
Teen Therapy
For teens ages 13–17, therapy can provide a space where they can talk openly, feel heard and work through the challenges that may be affecting their everyday lives. Support can include navigating emotions, self-esteem, relationships, school and the changes that come with adolescence.
Adult Therapy
For adults, therapy can provide a space to explore what you're experiencing, gain a deeper understanding of yourself and work through challenges that may be affecting your well-being. Together, we can focus on developing coping strategies and changes that feel meaningful and manageable.

Therapeutic Approaches
I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches and tailor my work to each client's individual needs, goals and experiences. Depending on what you are working through, I may incorporate different approaches to help you gain insight, develop coping strategies and create meaningful change. The approaches below provide an overview of the different ways we may work together in therapy.
-
Provides a supportive, accepting and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. Your perspective, needs and goals remain at the centre of the therapeutic process.
-
Focuses on the connection between your thoughts, emotions and behaviours. It can help you recognize patterns that may be contributing to distress and develop more helpful ways of responding to challenges.
-
Explores how past experiences, relationships and patterns can influence the way you think, feel and relate to yourself and others today. It can help you develop greater insight into patterns that may be affecting your current experiences.
-
Focuses on developing greater awareness and acceptance of difficult thoughts and emotions while identifying what matters most to you. ACT can help you build psychological flexibility and take meaningful steps toward the life you want.
-
Explores how early relationships and attachment experiences can shape the way you understand yourself, connect with others and respond within relationships. It can help you develop greater awareness of relationship patterns and build healthier ways of connecting.
-
Helps you develop a deeper understanding of your emotions and what they may be communicating. It can support greater emotional awareness and help you find healthier ways to process and respond to your emotions.
-
Focuses on your goals, strengths and the changes you would like to make. Rather than focusing only on problems, it explores what is already working and how you can build on those strengths.
-
Recognizes the strengths, abilities and resources you already have. Therapy can help you build on these qualities while working through areas where you may be feeling stuck or facing challenges.
-
Recognizes the ways difficult or traumatic experiences can affect thoughts, emotions, behaviours and relationships. Therapy focuses on creating safety, developing coping strategies and supporting you in processing experiences at a pace that feels manageable.
-
Encourages greater awareness of your thoughts, emotions and experiences in the present moment. Mindfulness can be incorporated into therapy to support emotional regulation, reduce stress and develop greater awareness of how you respond to different situations.
Therapy sessions are offered virtually or by phone, giving you the flexibility to choose what feels most comfortable from session to session. Some days, you may prefer a video session where you can connect face-to-face, while other times a phone session may feel easier and more convenient. The goal is to make therapy fit naturally into your life and what feels right for you.
